Join us for a day full of adventure and art! We will be road tripping to Alma, Kansas to tour the newly renovated gallery and grounds of the Volland Gallery (south of Alma) followed by the Encaustic Wax Workshop taught by Ann Carter. 
In this workshop, you will experience the unique process of this ancient medium by layering, painting and manipulating colored hot wax on wood. Photo transfer and collage techniques will also be introduced, including the imbedding of photos and other objects into your creation.

Meet at Leaping Llamas at 10:45am to hit the road at 11. We will stop for lunch at Alma Cheese (included in cost) before starting our tour and workshop.
