Yin to Vin: an exploration of movement and stillness. In this class we will explore holding postures for longer periods to strengthen muscle and moving with ease from posture to posture.
Some light restorative postures may be offered, allowing the body to release physical effort. Modifications will be offered as options to lower or increase intensity.
About the teacher (Amanda): I value movement: walks in outdoors, martial arts, dance....Yoga began for me as a way to connect with myself while exploring styles of movement in college. I began a more solid practice in 2016 and teacher training in 2017. The fluidity of vinyasa has opened up new ways for me to move. Yin has helped slow me down. Eywa will be my first studio outside of YTT training.
I hope to share this movement expression in my classes and offer an opportunity for students to slow down.
